An exhibition of new works in sculpture, video, photography, and painting that reflects the time spent on the questions of what was lost last year.

Josh Bettenhausen

I still daydream like a 15 year old. I paint base shapes using base colors. I draw simple stick figures in simple worlds. I write poems using simple words. Then the life I’ve lived stacks itself into shapes. Work life calls. I love to work. Picking apart the ideas that come and go. Making associations of a life in experiences turned bitter and expressed and fire and blood. All this comes together to make the artist that is me. Yes! I am this. But I don’t know what ‘this’ really is… All I know, is that with every breath I am trying to make something new.
